Online First articles

We are excited to announce the launch of our new section, "Online First," at INContext. This initiative allows our readers to access cutting-edge research and insights before they appear in a fully published journal issue. Online First articles are peer-reviewed and approved manuscripts that are made available online ahead of the print or official online issue release. This approach accelerates the dissemination of knowledge, ensuring that the latest findings are accessible to researchers, practitioners, and the wider community as soon as possible.

The Online First process works by publishing articles individually as soon as they are finalized, rather than waiting for an entire issue to be completed. Once a manuscript has successfully undergone peer review, revisions, and editorial approval, it is published online immediately. This model not only reduces the time between submission and publication but also helps authors share their work more promptly with the scientific community, fostering faster academic discourse and real-world application.

Readers can access Online First articles via the INContext website, where each article will be listed with a DOI (Digital Object Identifier), ensuring that it is citable and accessible from the moment it is published. When the article is later included in a specific issue, the citation information will be updated, but the content remains the same.

The introduction of Online First reflects our commitment to enhancing the visibility and impact of research published in INContext. By providing early access to high-quality articles, we aim to keep our audience at the forefront of the latest developments in the field. We encourage our readers to regularly check the Online First section to stay updated with the newest research contributions.
